Cherry Festival 2026 - Alfândega da Fé

From 5 to 7 June I'll have a stand at the Festa da Cereja&co in Alfândega da Fé, selling and offering tastings of Quinta da Silveira wines.

Cherry Festival 2026 - Alfândega da Fé

The region's biggest festival, with the best cherry in the best company

From 5 to 7 June, Alfândega da Fé turns red to celebrate Festa da Cereja&co 2026 - the region's largest festival, dedicated to the cherry and to everything made and grown in the municipality. Producers, artisans and local businesses come together for three days of food, entertainment and produce from the land - and this year I'll be there with my own stand.

Drop by for a tasting

I'll have a stand set up across all three days of the festival, with open tastings and direct sales of Quinta da Silveira wines. Bring your thirst, bring your friends - I'll be there to talk through each bottle, explain the grapes and open whatever you'd like to try before taking home.

I'm bringing the full range - whites, reds, rosé and Ports - all available for tasting side by side. The pairing with Alfândega's cherry alone is worth the trip - come and try.

What to see in Alfândega da Fé

While you're in town, take time to discover the historic centre of Alfândega da Fé, with the ruins of its medieval castle, the Igreja Matriz, the Pelourinho (pillory) and the Jewish Memorial, which honours the village's Sephardic past. In June, Alfândega's cherry orchards are in full harvest - walking trails through the cherry groves and Sapinha, a leisure area with pools and river, are highlights for any visitor to the region.
