Medieval Fair of Torre de Moncorvo - come visit me at the stand!

Torre de Moncorvo takes us back to the 14th century

From 17 to 19 April, the historic centre of Torre de Moncorvo closes to traffic once again to host the medieval market - with parades, dancing and period theatre. It's one of the most anticipated regional events in northeastern Portugal, and this year I'll be there with my own stand.

Drop by for a tasting

I'll have a stand set up across all three days of the fair, with open tastings and direct sales of Quinta da Silveira wines. Bring your thirst, bring your friends - I'll be there to talk through each bottle, explain the grapes and open whatever you'd like to try before taking home.

I'm bringing the full range - whites, reds, rosé and Ports - all available for tasting side by side. Try them together, compare, ask questions, and pick at your leisure what you'd like to bring home.

What to see in Torre de Moncorvo

While you're in town, take time to explore the historic centre of Torre de Moncorvo, home to the Igreja Matriz (16th century) - one of the largest rural churches in Portugal -, the Iron and Moncorvo Region Museum and the Mestre José Rodrigues Cultural Centre. A short drive away, the Serra do Reboredo offers viewpoints over the Douro International valley and walking trails through almond groves that turn the landscape white in February.

Where to find me: look for the Cláudia Isabel Wines, Quinta da Silveira stand inside the medieval market grounds, 17–19 April. Special pricing on cases of 6 for groups, and the tasting is on the house.
